Planning Disputes

We can offer specialist planning advice and expertise regarding all planning matters. We can represent your planning interests at a Public Inquiry. We have in-depth knowledge across all aspects of planning, in admpeninistrative law and Government guidance, in relation to the validation and determination of planning applications, environmental assessment, the scope and purpose of planning agreements, considerations of viability and deliverability, and the mechanisms and enforceability of planning obligations.  We can assist you in promoting or opposing development proposals at Local Plan and development management levels, and from developer, objector and local planning authority viewpoints.  We can prepare reports for and represent individuals, companies, local groups and associations, and local authority members and committees on greenfield and redevelopment sites, retail and industrial premises and residential development in both urban and rural settings, and in connection with applications at Local Authority and appeal level. We can negotiate, draft and conclude planning agreements relating to affordable housing, education, transport and public open space provision and developer financial contributions. We can advise on, prepare and present appeals against agricultural occupancy and other planning conditions, refusals, and enforcement action, both on the basis of written legal submissions and at hearings and inquiries before Inspectors.
