We were delighted to sponsor the Wadebridge Wheels best Pre-1960 motor vehicle at The Rotary Club of Wadebridge annual charity event held on Sunday 17th July at the Royal Cornwall Showground.
The winner was a Morris 8 owned by Dennis Williams and he was presented with his prize by Martin Broadfoot (President for the new Rotary year) and this year’s Event Judge, Stephen Knightley. Parnalls Litigator, Stuart Hutchison, said “The day was a huge success with more exhibitors and visitors than previous years. Parnalls has been involved in supporting similar local events like Wadebridge Wheels for many years and we were delighted to sponsor and help raise money for our headline charity, The Cove Macmillan Support Centre at Treliske Hospital.Wadebridge Rotary Club members now have the pleasant task of deciding just how to distribute the net proceeds – believed to be around £20,000, once all income is received and costs settled – among local charities, projects and organisations”.
