Claire is a Chartered Legal Executive and works as part of our Residential Conveyancing Team having joined the firm in 2010. Claire studied with CILEx, the professional body for Chartered Legal Executives and is now a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Her work today includes residential sales and purchases, re-mortgages, dealing with new build purchases and some agricultural land purchases.

A true local, Claire went to school in Launceston before completing her A-levels at City College, Plymouth and then the Level 3 part of the CILEx qualification at Cornwall College, St Austell. Claire then went on to complete the Level 6 part of the qualification after joining the firm.

Claire brings a calm, receptive and highly organised attitude to her work and strives to make the legal process as smooth as possible for clients.

As voiced by numerous clients, Claire’s communication skills are second to none, going the extra mile to put clients at ease and keeping them fully informed throughout the transaction.

In 2025, Claire won the award for Residential Property Lawyer of the Year at the Cornwall Law Society Annual Awards Ceremony after being awarded ‘highly commended’ at the ceremony in 2023. This was a huge achievement for both Claire and the firm and a testament to her dedication.

Outside of work, Claire enjoys keeping fit and healthy, spending quality time with family and friends and travelling.
