Claire is a Chartered Legal Executive and works as part of our Residential Conveyancing Team having joined the firm in 2010. Claire studied with CILEx, the professional body for Chartered Legal Executives and is now a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Legal Executives. Her work today includes residential sales and purchases, re-mortgages, dealing with new build purchases and some agricultural land purchases.
A true local, Claire went to school in Launceston before completing her A-levels at City College, Plymouth and then achieved Level 3 of the CILEx qualification at Cornwall College, St Austell. Claire has always wanted to work in the legal profession, as she enjoys debating issues – particularly if she is on the winning side! Claire brings a calm, receptive and highly organised attitude to her work and strives to make the legal process as smooth as possible for clients.
As voiced by numerous clients, Claire’s communication skills are second to none, going the extra mile to put clients at ease and keeping them fully informed throughout the transaction.
Outside of work, Claire puts her colleagues to shame by following a vegan diet and going to Pilates classes regularly. Claire is interested in fashion and loves visiting National Trust properties locally, as well as travelling further afield to warmer climates such as Australia, where she has family.
“When buying in Cornwall I wanted to use a local firm and Parnalls were recommended. I get involved in many property transactions along with other corporate work in relation to the private Equity world and I have to say that Claire stands out in terms of the current crop of professionals I deal with.”
“Thanks Claire. Never known a sale to go through so quickly, easily and efficiently!”
“We really appreciate your professionalism, contactability and support.”
