Parnalls Solicitors Katherine Flashman Kitson visited A la Ronde – National Trust, Exmouth a unique 18th Century 16-sided house now operated by The National Trust. Katherine says “I desperately wanted to see the Shell Gallery which has recently been restored. I love gathering and displaying shells and use box frames to display shells from different areas of the world which I have visited. Jane and Mary Parminter also travelled and gathered and acquired shells, which are both displayed in the house and made the wonderful Shell Gallery. You cannot go up to the Shell Gallery now in case of damage, but you can view it from the central atrium using a mirror. It is utterly stunning and totally unique”.
