Parnalls Solicitors Katherine Flashman Kitson had a wonderful day on the Yacht Siran as a guest of Steve and Liz Matcham sailing from Saltash Harbour out past the Dockyard, Royal William Yard, out into The Sound, passed Drake’s Island, the Drake water and heading to the Eddystone Lighthouse and then back to Cawsand Bay for a swim.
Katherine says “Wonderful to be out on the water and thank you so much to my hosts Steve and Liz for such a great day. The facilities at Saltash are brilliant and coming down early morning on a beautiful day was stunning. I went to school in Plymouth and started my early working life there so I have always loved it, and it is seen at its best from the water, so sailing past and through all these wonderful places was really inspiring. I cannot help but think of stories of old, the Pilgrim Fathers, Drake and the Armada, and Plymouth’s wonderful maritime and naval history. A great day and I think I have got the bug”.
