Parnalls Solicitors Katherine Flashman Kitson attended the Goodwood Aerodrome. The Parnall family were heavily involved in Aviation with the Parnall Factory in Bristol, building various aircraft from 1916 and during the First World War churning out the two aircraft today. From 1935 the Parnall Aircraft Company designed and constructed aircraft including the Parnall Panther, Peto and Cierva Autogiro. Later in the Second World War Alan and Denis Parnall joined the RAF, Denis flew with the 249 Squadron and unfortunately was shot down and killed in combat. The Parnall Group Ltd is now involved in rebuilding a Spitfire in honour of the Family history.
