Parnalls Solicitors Katherine Flashman Kitson and Stephen Robillard visited the South Crofty tin mine. Katherine says “ it was absolutely fascinating to go down south Crofty, tour some of the interior, learn about its history, and it’s present in future. I’ve grown up in Cornwall surrounded by the remnants of copper tin and arsenic mines, they were my playgrounds as children, and this industry put Cornwall on the international map. It is really exciting to hear what Cornwall Metals are doing here, and the exciting plans for the future, which can only benefit the local area and indeed the county. I called it a Phoenix industry, because this project is raising South Crofty from the ashes, soon to fly again, in all her silvery glory”
