Conveyancing Fee Earner
The Role
Parnalls Solicitors Ltd. are seeking a CONVEYANCYING FEE EARNER to work in our property department. As a Conveyancing Fee Earner, you will manage a varied caseload of residential conveyancing matters from instruction through to completion. This role is ideal for a motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys taking ownership of their cases while working collaboratively within a supportive team.
This is a full-time role based in our Launceston office, with hybrid working considered. The hours are 9am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.
Key Responsibilities:
• Managing your own caseload of conveyancing matters, including sales, purchases, re-mortgages, transfers of equity, and lease extensions.
• Liaising with clients, estate agents, mortgage lenders, and other stakeholders to ensure a seamless transaction process.
• Preparing and reviewing legal documents, including contracts, title deeds, and searches.
• Advising clients on legal aspects of the conveyancing process, ensuring they are fully informed throughout.
• Conducting due diligence, including title investigations and resolving any issues that arise.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements, including anti-money laundering checks.
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date case management records.
• Contributing to the development of the department by maintaining high standards of client care and fostering strong relationships

Skills/Experience
• Qualification as a Licensed Conveyancer, Solicitor, or Legal Executive (CILEx)
• Experience in high-value or complex property transactions
• Proven experience managing a conveyancing caseload independently.
• Sound knowledge of UK residential and commercial property law.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Proficient in using case management systems and IT software.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commercial property experience (desirable)
